  • Draft Flood Risk Management Plans

    The Office of Public Works (OPW) have launched the statutory public consultation for the draft Flood Risk Management Plans for the Shannon and South Western Catchment Flood Risk Assessment and Management (CFRAM) study. The public consultation commences on Friday 15th July until Friday 23rd September, 2016 both dates inclusive.

  • Occupation of Vacant Commercial Premises Incentive Scheme

    A new Business Incentive Scheme has been adopted which is designed to encourage the use of vacant commercial premises throughout the County. As the County emerges from a challenging economic period, the local authority is keen to support new business owners and incentivise them to move into premises that are currently lying vacant.
