County Development Plan.

2009-2015

Notice is hereby given that Longford County Council being the Planning Authority for County Longford, has pursuant to the provisions of the Planning and Development Act 2000, made the Longford County Development Plan for the years 2009-2015. This plan supersedes any Draft Longford County Development Plan and the previous Longford County Development Plan 2003-2009.

In accordance with the Planning and Development (Strategic Environmental Assessment) Regulations 2004, the Plan is also accompanied by an SEA Statement that summarises how environmental considerations have been integrated into the plan, how the environmental report prepared pursuant to article 13C, and how submissions and observations made to the planning authority in response to a notice under section 12(1) or (7) of the Planning and Development Act, have been taken into account during the preparation of the plan. In addition the SEA statement also outlines the reasons for choosing the plan, as adopted, in the light of the other reasonable alternatives dealt with, and the measures decided upon to monitor, in accordance with article 13J, the significant environmental effects of implementation of the plan.
