Corporate Plan.
Under the provisions of Section 134 of the Local Government Act, 2001 each local authority is required to prepare a Corporate Plan. Longford County Council's Corporate Plan 2010 - 2014 was adopted by the elected members of the Council at the December Meeting of the Council which was held on December 16th, 2009.
The Corporate Plan is the key strategic business document dealing with the operations of the Council for the five-year life of the elected Council. The Plan is a high level statement of objectives with accompanying strategies.
