If you are coming from the Westport, Castlebar and Strokestown, direction you will be on the N5 Route:
Follow this route right into the town centre. You will enter the town via Richmond Street. You will encounter traffic lights at a T-junction. At this junction the Longford Arms Hotel will be on your right hand side and Providers Hardware Store will be on your left hand side. Turn left and proceed to the next junction on the right hand side. Please be aware that this junction is only a very short distance from the traffic lights. At this junction turn right into Great Water Street. About 250 metres down along this street you will see the Áras an Chontae building on your right hand side.
Car parking is available but please be aware that a Pay and Display system is in operation. For those attending on business a Temporary Parking Permit can be issued from the Customer Services Desk which is located in the atrium of the building.
