Roadworks Special Speed Limit Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Longford County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2004, and in the interest of Public Road Safety has made an Order to implement the following Roadwork’s Special Speed Limit detailed as follows:

 Roadworks Special Speed Limit at L-50073-0 Clooniher Longford

Description of Change: ChangeSpeed Limit from 80km/h to 50 Km/hon the Local Tertiary Road L-5003-0 at Clooniher, Co Longford from Easting 608832.89, Northing 782658.98, to Easting 608470.24, Northing 782304.90                                      

 The Special Speed Limit shall commence from 27th February 2024 for the duration of the works subject to a maximum period of 12 months in accordance with the provisions of Section 10(2) of the Act.

The Special Speed Limit is to facilitate road resurfacing works.

Tosóidh an Luasteorainn Speisialta ón 27 Feabhra 2024 ar feadh ré na n-oibreacha faoi réir uastréimhse 12 mhí de réir fhorálacha Alt 10(2) den Acht.

Tá an Luasteorainn Speisialta chun oibreacha athdhromchlaithe bóithre a éascú.
