Temporary Closing of Roads – Roads Act 1993 (Section 75)

 Longford County Council hereby has made an order to close the Local Road described hereunder,

 Road to be Closed:     L-1088 in the townlands of Glannagh, Ballyhoolivan, Drumnacross and Moatfarrell

 Date:                            Road to be closed weekdays only (Monday to Friday) from

                                      6 November 2023 to 26 January 2024

 Hours of Closure:       24 Hours (Monday to Friday)

 Alternative Routes:    Via Local Roads in Moatfarrell, Lisnanagh and    Newtownbond.

This road closure is required to facilitate Drumnacross Old GWS – WM Rehab Scheme. 

GMC Utilities Group are carrying out the works on behalf of Uisce Éireann.

In the interest of road safety, you are requested to follow diversions and heed all signs.
