Ballyminion Regeneration Masterplan
Longford County Council have prepared a Draft Regeneration Masterplan for the Ballyminion Area of Longford Town. The Ballyminion area is designated as a strategic site within the Longford Town and Environs Local Area Plan 2016 – 2022. Strategic sites are areas that, if developed, have the potential to generate significant benefit for the town and County as a whole.
The Draft Regeneration Masterplan will look at the mix of uses in the area, pedestrian and vehicular movement and links to the town area, availability of services, infrastructure and amenity facilities within the existing land-use zoning framework, with the overall objective to improve quality of life in the area, the town and it‘s environs.
The assessments outlined hereunder have informed, directed and been incorporated into the Regeneration Masterplan
