The Shannon Masterplan Public Consultation

Public Consultation on the Draft Tourism Masterplan for the Shannon 2020-2030 and associated Environmental Report

Pursuant to Article 13 of SI No. 435/2004 - European Communities (Environmental Assessment of Certain Plans and Programmes) Regulations 2004, notice is hereby given by Waterways Ireland, that the Draft Tourism Masterplan for the Shannon 2020-2030 and associated an Environmental Report and an Appropriate Assessment pursuant to Article 6 of the Habitats Directive 92/43/EEC will be on public display from Wednesday 4th March 2020 to 4 pm on Wednesday 22nd April 2020, inclusive in the following locations in Longford:

Aras An Chontae, Great Water Street, Longford (Mon-Fri,  9am – 5pm. Closed 1pm-2pm)
Lanesboro Branch Library, Lanesboro, Co. Longford (Mon 2pm - 8pm, Tues  2pm - 6pm, Wed, Fri: 10am-1pm & 2pm - 5pm, Sat 10am- 1pm)

Under sub-article (1)(b) of Article 13 of SI No. 435/2004 - European Communities (Environmental Assessment of Certain Plans and Programmes) Regulations 2004, written submissions or observations are invited from members of the public and other interested parties with respect to the Draft Tourism Masterplan for the Shannon 2020-2030 and associated environmental report.  Observations may be submitted between the 4th March and 4pm 22nd April 2020 by completion of the following online survey:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/R77GXYK
