Age Friendly

Age Friendly Longford is part of Age Friendly Ireland, responsible for the national Age Friendly Programme.

Age Friendly Ireland supports a more inclusive society for older people by addressing their expressed concerns and interests under the eight pillars of the World Health Organization’s global programme.

Age Friendly Longford is one of 31 local Age Friendly Programmes, led by Longford County Council and involving many stakeholders, including many local community and voluntary partners.
