Section 26 Plan

Longford County Council has a statutory obligation as a Fire Authority as outlined in Section 26 of the Fire Services Acts, 1981 & 2003, to prepare a Fire and Emergency Operations Plan.  This Plan is an analysis of the Fire Service in terms of its organisational structures, its assets, its operating procedures, etc. The Plan sets out the strategic objectives for the Fire Service that Longford County Council wishes to achieve during the life of the Plan (2018-2023).
