Notice is hereby given that Longford County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2004, and in the interest of Public Road Safety has made an Order to implement the following Roadwork’s Special Speed Limit detailed as follows:

Roadworks Special Speed Limit, N4 Longford By-pass Order 2022

Description of Change: Change Speed Limit from 100km/h to 60 Km/h on the National Primary Road N4 at Longford By-pass from Easting 614788, Northing 776314 to Easting 612631, Northing 777386.

Change Speed Limit from 100km/h to 60km/h to the National Primary Road N5 at Longford By-pass from Easting 612532, Northing 777058 to Easting 612641, Northing 777194.

The Special Speed Limit shall commence from 12th September 2022 for the duration of the works subject to a maximum period of 12 months in accordance with the provisions of Section 10(2) of the Act.

The Special Speed Limit is required to facilitate N4 Longford By-Pass Phase I Pavement Resurfacing Scheme
