Roadworks - Night time works - Longford town

Longford County Council wishes to advise roadworks are to be carried out as follows:

Dates:     Tuesday 2nd December – Friday 5th December 2025                      

Hours:     8pm – 6am – Nighttime works

Roads:   N63 Ballymahon Street

               R198 Main Street

               R393 Dublin Road form St Mel’s Cathedral to Ardnacassa             

Reason: To facilitate Gully Cleaning and Jetting

Stop/Go or Temporary Traffic Lights may be used during the works.

Pedestrian Management will also be in operation.  The road will remain open but short traffic delays should be expected.
