New Bursary Opportunities
Longford County Council Arts Office Bursary Scheme 2022
Supporting County Longford-based artists and film-makers

The focus of this year’s County Arts Office Bursary Scheme will be individual professional artists operating in the Longford County Council administrative area.
Bursaries will be awarded under three categories:
- on-going practice development bursaries
- film-making bursaries
- residential bursaries for the artist retreat at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre
Bursaries will be awarded to artists in support of their continuing professional development, including through supporting the creation of new work, training, funding for materials and equipment. The artist retreat will enable Longford artists to progress their work in a suitable environment.
Artists Bursaries will be in the region of €500, though this figure may be varied by the adjudicators based on such factors as the number of applicants and the quality of projects. Film bursaries will be in the region of €5,000. The artist retreat fees will be paid directly by the Longford County Council Arts Office.
