CLÁR 2025 funding announced

Measure 1: Developing Community Facilities and Amenities open for applications 

Minister for Rural and Community Development, Dara Calleary TD, recently launched CLÁR (Ceantair Laga Árd-Riachtanais) 2025, which funds small infrastructural projects in rural areas that have experienced significant levels of de-population.

This includes Measure 1: Developing Community Facilities and Amenities, which supports capital projects that enhance existing community recreation facilities or develop new, accessible community recreation facilities. Grants are between €5,000 and €65,000. 

The scheme is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development (DRCD) and delivered by local authorities in consultation with schools, local community and voluntary groups and local development companies.

Closes for application at 4pm on Wednesday, 14 May 2025.
