Longford County Council Presidential Nomination Requests 2025

Longford County Council can confirm that 20 prospective presidential candidates have sought nominations from the council in relation to the Presidential Election.

A special meeting of Longford County Council relating to the potential nomination of presidential candidates will take place next Monday, 15 September. It is proposed that the special meeting of Longford County Council will run from 11am to 1pm and from 2pm onwards.

It is proposed that each potential candidate seeking nomination will conduct a ten-minute presentation for elected members.

The following prospective candidates have sought the support of Longford County Council for nomination and confirmed eligibility for the Presidential Campaign 2025
