Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme 2024/25
Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme 2024/25
The Department of Rural and Community Development has announced the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme for 2024/25.
This scheme aims to support outdoor recreational infrastructure in countryside areas across Ireland. The 2024/25 scheme emphasises the opportunity for recreational amenities located near rivers, lakes and beaches. The 2024/25 scheme also seeks to support recreational infrastructure that provides an inclusive approach for communities to deliver outlets that support a diverse range of users, including people with disabilities and older adults.
Longford County Council are now seeking Expressions of Interest from community groups who may have a suitable project for consideration under the Scheme.
