Public announcement advising of a drone survey of the Camlin River North of Longford Town

Longford County Council are responsible for the maintenance of certain sections of the Camlin River. During Storm ร‰owyn, several trees were damaged or felled in the river, reducing flood resilienceย along sections of the river.
As a result, Longford County Council has secured the services of an external contractor who will carry out a drone survey on Thursday, 20 March. This will cover sections of the Camlin River, north of Longford Town as noted in the map below
