A small grant scheme to support the publication of local history books has been launched by Longford County Council through its Archives Service.
Individual grants of up to €1,000 are available, with one grant per book. Total funding for this small grant scheme is €5,000. The contents of every book to be funded must relate to County Longford either throughout or in significant proportion.

This scheme supports local historians in bringing their work to publication, ensuring that our shared stories, heritage and experience are documented and accessible to present and future generations."
