Upcoming Household Hazardous Waste Collection
Saturday, 17 May in Pearse Park, Longford
An upcoming Household Hazardous Waste Collection will take place on Saturday, 17 May from 10am to 12pm in the lower car park of Pearse Park, Longford (enter via the Rugby Club road entrance). Items you can dispose of at this collection may include:
- old paints
- old and out-of-date household cleaners
- garden herbicides and pesticides
- waste oil
- obsolete medicine
- old batteries
A €1 per kg charge will apply (excluding old batteries which will be free to dispose of at this collection).
No commercial paint, waste oil from garages or commercial hazardous waste will be permitted.
The collection is for County Longford residents only - please provide proof of the address with the corresponding photo ID.
