The Redevelopment of the Dog Track (Longford People’s Park)

The development will consist of:

• Demolition of existing spectator stand, ancillary structures and clearance of existing site.
• Construction of carpark area which incorporates 40 standard carparking spaces, 2 Coach parking spaces, 3 Accessible spaces and provision for 3 E.V spaces. Works to include associated drainage works, incorporation of a Sustainable Drainage System (SuDs), kerbing, landscaping and lighting.
• Construction of Astro Turf (100 x 60m) playing pitch and surrounding 400m asphalt surfaced exercise loop.
• Construction of walkways / paths through proposed site.
• Provision of Outdoor Gym Equipment adjacent to pathways.
• Provision of youths play areas including playground equipment as outlined.
• Provision of planting and landscaped areas as shown.
• Construction of Boules, Basketball and Futsal playing courts.
• Construction of hard landscaping (paving and communal areas) as shown.
• Incorporation of time sensitive, smart ambient lighting to pathways and communal areas (29nr 6m poles).
• Provision of Flood Lighting to Astro Playing pitch (6nr 15m poles).
• Perimeter fencing and screen hedging.
• Soft landscaping, shrub and tree planting.
