Customer Complaints
Longford County Council continuously works to ensure we meet the highest standards of customer service. At times, despite our best efforts, we do not always get it right. Citizens Information Centres
For further assistance, Citizens Information Centres (CICs) provide free, impartial information, advice, and advocacy across Ireland.
Information can be found on their website by clicking this link. Citizens Information Phone Service (CIPS) is a nationwide service that can be reached on 0818 07 4000, Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm.
Office of the Ombudsman
If you remain unhappy with our response to your complaint then you can refer it to the Office of the Ombudsman which you can access by clicking this link. The Ombudsman is fair, independent, and free to use. The Ombudsman will ask you for details of your complaint and a copy of our final response to your complaint.
