Commercial Vehicles
Commercial vehicles include heavy goods commercial vehicles, light goods commercial vehicles and small and large public service vehicles (such as taxis, hackneys, community buses and school buses).
Roadworthiness Test
All commercial vehicles must complete an annual roadworthiness test in a commercial vehicle test centre.
The onus is on the vehicle owner to have the vehicle tested. The owner will not receive notification that the vehicle is due for a test.
For more information, contact the Road Safety Authority's Commercial Vehicle Testing section at 091 872 600, cvtadmin@rsa.ie or at RSA.ie.
