Granard Regeneration Strategy

Nicholas de Jong Associates have been appointed by Longford County Council to prepare a Regeneration Strategy for Granard Town. The Strategy aims to develop and deliver an effective short, medium and long term path to enterprise and job creation in the area, building on existing and planned investment and innovation initiatives. In order to gather feedback and develop a comprehensive understanding of specific community needs, a survey was widely advertised for completion by the community. The results of the survey are being used to inform and guide the development of this Strategy and the key actions and outcomes arising from it. The consultants presented their initial findings to Longford County Council Regeneration team, Management and Elected Members on 7 December 2020.
