Parks, Playgrounds and Open Spaces Byelaws 2024

The Parks, Playgrounds and Open Spaces Byelaws 2024 are intended to manage the use of parks, playgrounds, open spaces, multi-use games areas (MUGAs) and recreational playing grounds owned or controlled by Longford County Council.

These byelaws will help to ensure these spaces and facilities are used fully and safely. They also work to ensure these spaces are protected for the enjoyment of users.

The byelaws are made under Part 19 of the Local Government Act 2001 (As Amended)
