Longford County Council is invites the public to have their say on the Draft Cemetery Bye-Laws 2025. This important document proposes updates to the current bye-laws to ensure the respectful and consistent management of all cemeteries under the Council's control.

Attend any of our in-person drop-in sessions with a Council representative from the Environment Section:
- Edgeworthstown Library on Monday, 16 June, from 2pm to 4pm
- Ballymahon Library on Wednesday, 18 June, from 10am to 12pm
- Longford Library on Friday, 20 June, from 10am to 12pm
- Granard Library on Friday, 20 June, from 2pm to 4pm
The final date for submissions is 3pm on Friday, 4 July 2025.
