Private House Grants – Information for Applicants

Private house grants are available to assist eligible homeowners in adapting their homes to better meet their needs. These grants may support:

  1. Housing Aid for Older People Scheme
  2. Mobility Aids Housing Grant
  3. Adaptation Grant for People with a disability

These supports are provided under schemes funded by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, and administered by your local authority.

Important:

Please note that approval must be obtained before any works commence. Applications submitted after works have started or completed will not be eligible for funding.
