Submissions and observations are invited
The Eastern and Midland Regional Assembly have commenced a review of the Regional Spatial and Economic Strategy (RSES) and are seeking input from communities, stakeholders and all interested parties on the future of the region. The region includes 12 local authority areas

As part of the pre-draft public consultation stage, the Assembly has produced a Strategic Issues Paper (EMRA_RSES – Strategic Issues Paper) and is inviting individuals, communities, local authorities, state agencies and government departments to help it formulate a new vision and framework for coordinated spatial planning and economic development across the region.
Submissions and observations are invited on the Strategic Issues Paper up until 5pm on the 22nd of May 2026.
