Special Speed Limit: N55 Meeltanagh

To facilitate pavement overlay works, a special speed limit will be in place as follows: 

Road: N55 Meeltanagh Longford
Description of Special Speed Limit: Change speed limit from 100km/h to 60 Km/hon the national secondary road N55 at Meeltanagh from Easting 621259, Northing 765199 to Easting 624021, Northing 769485.
Dates: From Monday, 15 January 2024 and for the duration of the works subject to a maximum period of 12 months.

The above is in accordance with Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2004 and in the interest of public road safety.
