Roads to be declared as public roads

Under the Roads Act, 1993, a road authority may, by order, declare any road over which a public right of way exists to be a public road.

This is subject to several considerations including that the proposal must be advertised and consider any objections or representations.

Below is a list of currently proposed roads to be declared public, along with

  • a description of the proposal
  • an online map of the location as well as where a physical map can be inspected
  • how to make objections or representations
  • and the closing date to make any objections or representations

There are currently no proposed roads to be declared public.
