Roscommon/Longford Garda Youth Awards 2025

In association with Longford and Roscommon County Councils

Nominations are now being sought for the 7th Annual Roscommon/Longford Garda Youth Awards 2025. These awards celebrate outstanding young people aged between 13 and 21 years, recognising the good work they do across their communities. 

Award categories

There are four award categories:

1. Individual Award: Making a positive contribution to their community, making it a better place to live
2. Group Award: Group of two or more, making a positive contribution to their community, making it a better place to live
3. Special Achievement Award: Overcome difficult circumstances, defying all the odds and whose commitment deserves recognition
4. Community Safety Award: Through a crime prevention or safety initiative or innovation, they have made their community a safer place to live
   
   

How to enter 

Any member of the public can nominate a young person for an award under any of the above categories. To enter for these awards, please complete the Garda Youth Awards Nomination Form 2025 and the Media Consent Form 2025. 

Email completed forms to Roscommon.GardaYouthAwards@garda.ie.

Alternatively, you can return your completed forms to Garda Colm Satchwell, An Garda Síochána, Longford, County Longford.

Closing date 

The closing date for entries is Friday, 20 June 2025.
