Meeting Schedule

Longford Local Community Safety Partnership meets on a quarterly basis. See the schedule of meetings for 2023 below:

Quarterly Meeting	Monday 20 March 2023 - 11am
Quarterly Meeting	Monday 19 June 2023 - 11am
Quarterly Meeting	Monday 18 September 2023 - 11am
Quarterly Meeting	Monday 18 December 2023 - 11am

Public Meeting

Longford Local Community Safety Partnership will hold a minimum of 1 Public Meeting per year.

Details regarding Public Meetings will be advertised in local media, on the Longford County Council’s website and social media.

No public meetings for 2022 have been scheduled as of 20th January 2022- however once agreed information will be circulated widely.

Questions to be addressed to the Local Community Safety Partnership must be received in writing at least 7 full working days before the Public Meeting by the LCSP Co-ordinator.

Questions will be accepted from any person with relevant community safety queries.
Questioners should give their name and address, which will not be publicised

Strategic Working Groups

Longford Local Community Safety Partnership has established 3 strategic working groups- 1 steering group to assist in the development of the consultation process and Community Safety Plan and 2 Thematic Working Groups

The aim of each Working Group is to consider ways to address the items that arise under their respective remit and to facilitate discussions between relevant internal and external stakeholders, in order to make recommendations to the full LCSP.

These working group meetings are held on a monthly basis and are not open for public observation. However, you can request further information by contacting communitysafety@longfordcoco.ie

Meeting Documents- Agendas, Minutes and Meeting Summaries

Agendas will be available to view here in advance of quarterly meetings of the LCSP. Meeting Summaries- compiled by the Community Safety Coordinator, will be made available following a quarterly meeting of the LCSP. Minutes of LCSP meetings will then be made available once they are reviewed and adopted by members at the next quarterly meeting.
