Longford Council and the Longford Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) are currently preparing for the Longford Local Economic and Community Plan (LECP) 2023-2029.

The purpose of the County Longford Local Economic and Community Plan (LECP) is to promote economic and Community Development in the County of Longford for the next 6 years, and affects everyone who lives, works, does business and visits County Longford.

The Plan has been screened for the need to undertake Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Appropriate Assessment (AA) and the final SEA and AA reports are available to view below:
