Roadworks - Longford MD

Longford County Council wishes to advise roadworks are to be carried out as follows:

Dates:     Thursday 16th October2025 - Thursday 30th October 2025                   

Hours:     8am – 5pm

Roads: 

  • N4 Newtownforbes
  • Ferefad/Ardagh Road Junction
  • Bottom of Lisduff Hill - Main Road Only
  • Park Road - Railway Bridge   
  • N63 Athlone - Outside West Link Business Park
  • N4-N5 Roundabout Approach

Reason: To facilitate resurfacing works

Stop/Go or Temporary Traffic Lights may be used during the works.

The road will remain open but short traffic delays should be expected.
