 Notice is hereby given that Longford County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2004, and in the interest of Public Road Safety has made an Order to implement the following Roadwork’s Special Speed Limit detailed as follows:

Roadworks Special Speed Limit at N55 Ballymahon to Kilcurry Longford

Description of Change: ChangeSpeed Limit from 80km/h to 60 Km/hon the National  Secondary Road N55,  from Easting 615978, Northing 757795 to Easting 618283, Northing 759806.

The Special Speed Limit shall commence from the 13 October 2025 for the duration of the works subject to a maximum period of 12 months in accordance with the provisions of Section 10(2) of the Act.

The Special Speed Limit is to facilitate watermain replacement works.
