Temporary Road Closure - L-5074 Carrowlinan townland

Please note the following Temporary Road Closure - Roads Act 1993 (Section 75) & Roads Regulation 1994 (Article 12)

Longford County Council hereby has made an order to close the Road described hereunder.

Road:       L-5074 Carrowlinan townland between its junctions with L-1034 and L-5086 

Date:        Monday 16th  March – Friday 20th March 2026 (excluding St. Patrick’s Day)

Time:         8am-4pm

Reason:  To facilitate maintenance works

Local diversions will be in place during the hours of closure.

Traffic management system (Traffic Lights) will be in place for the duration of the works but delays can be expected.

"This notification is sent in accordance with Section 37, of the Road Traffic Act, 1994"
