Temporary Closing of Roads – Roads Act 1993 (Section 75) Road Regulations 1994 (Section 12)

Longford County Council hereby gives notice that it has made an order to close the road described hereunder:

Dates:                                 Friday 17th April – Monday 20th April 2026

Hours of Closure:             8am – 6pm

Roads to be Closed:        L-5128 Balnagal Road

The purpose of this closure is to planned work under the Roads Programme 2026.

Traffic Management will be in place for the duration of the works and there are diversions in place via L-1067 Galid →L1066 Colmcille Terrace → R-194 Longford Rd 

In the interest of road safety, you are requested to heed all signs.
