Temporary Road Closures - Granard MD w/c 09th March

Please note the following Temporary Road Closure - Roads Act 1993 (Section 75) & Roads Regulation 1994 (Article 12)

Longford County Council hereby has made an order to close the Roads described hereunder.

Road:     

• L-1086 Moatfarrell between its junctions with L-1079 (Old Post Office Moatfarrell) and at the junctions of L-1091/L-1089 (ESB substation Brackl9in road Edgeworthstown)  
• L-1088 Moatfarrell between its junctions with L-1086 and L-5155 

Date:        Monday 9th – Friday 13th March 2026

Time:         8am-4pm

Reason:  To facilitate drainage works

Local diversions will be in place during the hours of closure.

Traffic management system (Traffic Lights) will be in place for the duration of the works but delays can be expected.
