Temporary Road Closure - Granard MD wc 8th June

Please note the following Temporary Road Closure - Roads Act 1993 (Section 75) & Roads Regulation 1994 (Article 12)

Longford County Council hereby has made an order to close the Roads described hereunder.

Road:      L-5054 Derryheelan  between its junctions with L-1016 and L-1010 and L-5074 Carrowlinan between its junctions with L-1034 and L-1046

Date:        Monday 8th June – Friday 12th June 2026

Time:         8am-4pm

Reason:  To facilitate works as part of the Roads Programme 2026

Local diversions will be in place during the hours of closure.

Traffic management system (Traffic Lights) will be in place for the duration of the works but delays can be expected.

"This notification is sent in accordance with Section 37, of the Road Traffic Act, 1994"
