Temporary Road Closure - L-1025-0 and L1030-0 Gaigue and Aughadowry

Please note the following Temporary Road Closure - Roads Act 1993 (Section 75) & Roads Regulation 1994 (Article 12)

Longford County Council hereby has made an order to close the Road described hereunder.

Road:      L-1025-0 and L1030-0 Gaigue and Aughadowry townlands between their junctions with R-198 (Gaigue Cross) and L-1034 (Aughadowry Cross)  

Date:        Monday 9th – Friday 13th March 2026

Time:         8am-4pm

Reason:  To facilitate maintenance works

Local diversions will be in place during the hours of closure.

Traffic management system (Traffic Lights) will be in place for the duration of the works but delays can be expected.

"This notification is sent in accordance with Section 37, of the Road Traffic Act, 1994"
