Temporary Road Closure - Local Road at Carrowbeg

Temporary Closing of Roads – Roads Act 1993 (Section 75) Road Regulations 1994 (Section 12)

Longford County Council hereby gives notice that it has made an order to close the road described hereunder:

Dates:     Monday 25th May – Friday 3rd July 2026 (7 weeks)

Hours:     7am-6pm

Roads to be closed: Local Road between the junctions of L-1152 and L-1150 at Carrowbeg to the North and the L-1159 at Carrowrory to the South

Reason: The purpose of this closure is to facilitate works for Uisce Eireann.

Traffic Management will be in place for the duration of the works.  In the interest of road safety, you are requested to heed all signs.

“This notification is sent in accordance with Section 37, of the Road Traffic Act, 1994"

Beidh bearta bainistithe tráchta/malairtí slí le comharthaí i bhfeidhm do thrácht áitiúil   

Ní mór do dhuine ar bith ar mian leis aighneacht a dhéanamh maidir leis an dúnadh bóithre sealadach beartaithe an aighneacht a thaisceadh, i scríbhinn, leis an duine thíos-sínithe tráth nach déanaí ná Déardaoin, an 7 Bealtaine 2026 ag 12pm.
