Temporary Road Closure - Longford Agriculture Show July 5th 2026

Please note the following Temporary Road Closure - Roads Act 1993 (Section 75) & Roads Regulation 1994 (Article 12)

To facilitate the Longford Agricultural Show 2026, Longford County Council hereby gives notice that it has made an order to close the roads in Longford described hereunder:

Date:                                Sunday 5th July 2025

Hours of Closure           8.30am – 6pm

(On completion of the Agricultural show, roads may open when safe to allow access, which could be in advance of advertised time)

Roads to be Closed:  L-1040-0 – Local Road between Kiernan’s Forge to Esker Cross.

Temporary Traffic Management arrangements will be in place for the duration of the road closure.

In the interest of road safety, you are requested to follow diversions and heed all signs.
