Temporary Road Closure - New Car park on Barrack Lane

Please note the following Temporary Road Closure - Roads Act 1993 (Section 75) & Roads Regulation 1994 (Article 12)

Longford County Council hereby has made an order to close the Roads described hereunder.

Road:      New Car Park on Barrack Lane and the new Link Road from the R194 to L-51229 Barrack Lane

Date:        Monday 15th June 2026

Time:         8am-1.30pm

Reason:  To facilitate the official opening of the Link Road, Granard

Local diversions will be in place during the hours of closure.

Traffic management system (Traffic Lights) will be in place for the duration of the works but delays can be expected.

"This notification is sent in accordance with Section 37, of the Road Traffic Act, 1994"
