Temporary Closing of Roads – Roads Act 1993 (Section 75)
Road Regulations 1994 (Section 12)
Longford County Council hereby gives notice that it has made an order to close Roads in the Ballymahon MD listed below, to public traffic as required, during the Roadwork’s Programme 2026
Hours of Closure: 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday
Dates & Alternative Route: Details will be published in advance of the commencement of works
Signage will be placed on all roads to assist motorists and local access will be maintained during the works.
Longford County Council considers it essential to carry out repair, maintenance and construction of critical transport infrastructure as provided in the Road Works Programme so as to maintain the operational capacity and safety of the public.
