Temporary Closing of Roads – Roads Act 1993 (Section 75) Road Regulations 1994 (Section 12)

Longford County Council hereby gives notice that it has made an order to close the road described hereunder:

Dates:                            Monday 24 August  - Friday 31st August 2026                                          

Hours of Closure:         8am – 6pm

Roads to be Closed:      L-1139-0 Ledwithstown to Derrycolumb

Traffic Management will be in place for the duration of the works. 

To facilitate the proposed works, a temporary diversion route will be in place for all through traffic. 

In the interest of road safety, you are requested to heed all signs.

This road closure is required to facilitate planned work under the roads programme 2026.

This notification is sent in accordance with Section 37, of the Road Traffic Act, 1994.
